Phil Schonberg – Phil is the owner of Fastpitch Power which is a fully integrated online training resource for fastpitch softball teams, coaches, and players of all levels and the founder and director of the training group Sound Shore Sports. Phil has been coaching and teaching all aspects of the fastpitch game for over 15 years. He is now one of the most sought after pitching instructors in the New York Tri-State area.
Jillian Stephens Schonberg – Jillian is a former top ranked east NCAA pitching recruit. She graduated from New Rochelle High School and Villanova University. She played gold level softball with several teams including the Virginia Shamrocks and the Morris County Belles prior to college, and continued to play Division 1 softball at Villanova. She was a student in physical therapy at Harcum College in Pennsylvania and is familiar with injuries, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.
Sarah Jamo – Sarah Jamo is in her 5th year as the head coach at USM. A two-time (2005, 2006) all-conference first team and an all-rookie team (2003) selection while at UMaine, Jamo finished her decorated career with the Black Bears as their all-time leader in strikeouts and wins in a season (2006). Helping lead the Black Bears to the 2004 America East conference championship. Sarah has steadily improved the USM program. Under her guidance the 2017 season brought about 15 wins, the opening of a brand new beautiful stadium and increased excitement for the future of USM softball.
Terren Allen - a two-time North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship winner who led Husson University to three regular-season titles in four years, will be in her first year as head coach of the Colby College softball program in the 2018-19 academic year. Allen was the NAC Coach of the Year the past two years and helped Husson earn two NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. Allen, who had a 94-66 record at Husson, led the Eagles to NCAA tourney appearances and NAC championships in 2015 and 2018 and to NAC regular season titles in 2015, 2017, and 2018. Allen’s teams won 20 games or more in three of her four seasons, including two seasons with 25 victories or more.
Nick Caiazzo – Former Minor League catcher turned professional instructor who was also a University of Maine Baseball standout. Nick is the Director of Player Development at the Edge Academy Training Center in Portland. Baseball has been his life and now adds softball to his resume as he is the coach of the Thunder 18UTravel Team as well as the Director of the Thunder Travel Softball Program.
